How we check saunas
From the venue's own website
We only show prices and facilities that the venue publishes itself, on its website or its booking page.
Dated and sourced
Every price shows the date we checked it and links to the page it came from.
Free to use, no booking fees
You book directly with the sauna. Paying never changes the facts we show.

Questions
Is Sauna Local free?
Yes. It's free to search and compare, and you book directly with the sauna.
Why don't some saunas show a price?
Many saunas only show prices on their booking page: 151 of the 508 we list don't publish a session price on their website. We link straight to the booking page rather than guess. Owners can add their prices for free.
Which saunas do you list?
Public saunas, bathhouses and banyas, plus spas, leisure centres and gyms where anyone can pay for a single sauna session or day pass, in 53 UK cities and 52 counties and regions. Members-only clubs and saunas for hire aren't included.
What is a community sauna?
A shared sauna, often wood-fired and outdoors, where you book a time slot and share the heat and the cold plunge with other people. Many are run as social enterprises.
